The road from Boulder Canyon comes up to Nederland from Boulder right by Barker Dam and in the winter the snow can get blown off the reservoir causing this misty snow effect. Nederland is one of my favorite places. Our littler ski resort Eldora is right above Nederland. They say there are more dogs than people in Ned. It’s a hippie type town and home to the famous “Frozen Dead Guy Days”… but that’s another story.
